so I just got to Nashville for the NFL Draft hanging out here for a couple of days and it's like these stores find me I don't know what it is but peep I was driving to Walmart go on and pick up some allergy medicine because legit I'm dying I like stepped outside for a second and I'm my eyes are itching my throat is closing I'm sneezing but on the way look what I saw you already know what time it is it's definitely not gonna compare to the one by my house but if I see one I told you it's automatic I gotta go so I'm gonna check it out see if they got any good swag I'll keep you posted and let you know but it's not a coincidence these stores are bangers and they find me alright peace about to leave already poor whites this about the same praise colors and colors and colors $5.00 okay so I'm going to restaurant my boy who lives in Nashville recommended it's called like 12 Street Tavern or something like that but supposedly from 9:00 to 11:00 on Monday nights they have live music who have limes here look you know how we get down on those from Atlanta but supposedly from 9:00 to 11:00 they have live music but I'm just trying to chill just maybe get something to eat maybe have a beer and listen to some music would be cool because it's Nashville so we'll see how it is I'm excited because he's a mood like a music guru so he knows all the spots so we'll see how it how the food is and also how the music is I'll let you know peace room good music good food and now I'm enjoying a nice little ice cream cone so that was a good spot I like the music food was good bartender was a cool dude overall authentic Nashville bar restaurant I enjoyed it so good night good first night alright I'm gonna enjoy this go to bed peace out alright going to a breakfast spot in Nashville I looked up it's called Nashville biscuit house that looks pretty gangster but it should be good I'll show you the sign come on with an authentic sign like that you know it's got to be really good alright I'm gonna go in so the prices were good eggs and home fries were pretty good the biscuit was good but the pancakes were straight garbage overall it was okay I'm full but food was pretty wack with a name like Nashville biscuit house it's got to be a lot better than that like it's got a like be banging and it was there so that was breakfast all right Nissan Stadium gonna go look you Nissan Stadium home of the Tennessee Titans field getting watered they might be having some events this weekend but a beautiful stadium I saw a couple of stray cats running around that was a little creepy but a lot of playoff memories in this stadium Steve McNair Eddie George Frank wycheck why check through a Hail Mary pass it could have been a forward lateral at the end of a playoff game and at NFC it was the N it don't know there's the AFC wild card game against the Buffalo Bills threw a pass that was considered a forward pass but they went on to win beat the bills I think they went to the Super Bowl that year but this place gets rowdy a lot of people in this stands going crazy price that's over a hundred thousand but the field looks beautiful right now it's nice and peaceful usually coaches and players will come and run the stairs when it's quiet just to get that you know peaceful serenity and you know when they do that and they play in a game and people are going crazy screaming they just envision that and they could throw a touchdown or make it like a nice run or a good throw but yeah it's it's cool it's cool to be in here field just looks gorgeous I'd love to be a professional player getting that paycheck but I'm not so I will just fantasize about it but Tennessee is crazy they probably play then go across the street and wile out at the bars on Broadway right afterward it's because it's very very close but that's Nashville this is Nissan Stadium home of the Tennessee Titans and this year's NFL Draft all right peace out [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] Terry Collins your giant great Chris Johnson New York jet great stadiums pretty cool they're doing all they're putting the grass down and now you can see the Titans logo there but uh this place is sweet just walking around seeing it a little bit yeah this place gets rowdy on game day all right I'm walking across the bridge here to get to downtown there's actually some birds right there thinking if I should hop all in one of them and take it across the bridge I might I'm a little nervous I would JIT just saw a girl riding one fell back on it and hit her head on the concrete no joke and then some dude with a helmet on right behind her was like that's why she should be wearing a helmet like yeah so I might hop on one right now cuz people are riding them and it's only a 15-minute walk but I think for like a dollar fifty I could ride on that the LimeWire one I think it's partnered with Hoover so might hop on that we'll see it's gorgeous down here look behind me Nashville Skyline walking across the bridge is gorgeous beautiful day hopefully hear some music get some food maybe have something to drink but absolutely gorgeous out here people are friendly alright on Broadway a lot of places play music walking past Broadway brew house went by Kid Rock's restaurant is like four stories high but a lot going on look behind me that's downtown Tennessee not too many people right now but I'm sure at night it gets ridiculous but yeah I'm walking into a more crowded spot right in front of Tootsie's right on Broadway music everywhere NFL Draft so it's easy super-famous a lot of people perform their celebrity why's what the Broadway is crazy you can see the draft stage all the way down at the end of the strip I'm gonna walk down there it's all the way back there I fell drop stage pretty sweet right at the bottom of Broadway about to bill grub grub grub grub grub my place tea is mad spicy my eyes are watering but it's good as Poole was super spicy and Ellie got mild – ice cream walking on Broadway Wednesday night tomorrow's the drops stage is at the bottom of the street that's the stage it's pretty rowdy out here just cruising streets are shut down campeón celebrity watch yeah pretty busy a lot of people in their football gear very sweet lotta neon lights is Nashville Smashville all right yourself very sweet Nissan Stadium downtown g—men Eli what up New York say Quan pretty cool Nashville was awesome had a great time heading to Texas now but music is great people are friendly the NFL Draft was unbelievable the atmosphere was just insane it's jus it was like New Year's Eve backstreet's food was amazing like I said barbecue food got to go to like a little local spot it's really cool cuz there's a city life and then you know you drive 20 minutes and it's very very very country I enjoyed it got to spend some time down at the draft eat some food listen to music I'm not a country music guy but I appreciate it someone like a Taylor Swift goes back to Nashville and she's just like a god she's a rock star and people really love her for that she was there at the NFL Draft singing there were some other people I don't know exactly who um there's that famous place I think it's called Tootsie's or something like that with the purple they got took over by the NFL so there was craziness going there but Broadway is just madness there's always bachelorette parties people just want to have a fun time Nashville is a great city I really enjoyed it so shout out to Nashville I'll be back I got some friends that lived there so I will definitely be back thank you for letting me spend some time there alright peace out about to leave already come with me

good morning story chasers this is not where I stayed last night I stayed at that airstrip which was quite lovely very very quiet I just saw a bobcat to you or something that looked like the Bobcat who was trying to scout out a rabbit for some food at least it wasn't really so beautiful over here I wanted to explore this little area by the river but look at these moose and caribou beautiful they're not real they're just this is Teslin and it's right on the river it's so pretty came across this river yesterday a lot of these bridges they have warning signs on them saying to go very slow 50 kilometers per hour which is 30 miles per hour the reason is because it's metal and it's a little bit rough so you can kind of feel your RV or your van wobbling a little bit as you go across it well we're headed out to Whitehorse now to meet up with some other friends that are from the escapers group mark and Shea and maybe have some dinner with them tonight it'll be good to see people that I know from escapers I miss all my my extended family from there I'm not much of a shopper but I am on the lookout for a special piece of artwork that I can hang on my wall on the van I've been looking for over a year and I'll know when I see it so I frequent these shops along the way to Alaska looking for that special something I also have some beautiful rest areas over here I can see the backdrop is amazing and I actually dumped my tank over here at the not migrating by down to my cassette toilet questions what they have over so it's really convenient I have these a lot of places around here and just off to the side of the road sometimes overlooking a lake sometimes just you don't fountains and trees in the background it is beautiful now I gotta go clean my windshield I ran out of range of wiper fluid because I was using it so much to get all the bugs off so I could no my front window so now it's having to go clean before you get to Whitehorse in Whitehorse I'll get some when I started my travels a couple of years ago I'm constantly reminded of the people who came before me the people who paved the way so that all of us can enjoy these beautiful areas of the country somebody had to build this road so that I could travel on it to get to this remote part of the United States I am truly grateful well it's a laundry day I used to despise doing laundry but that was in a sticks and bricks house where it could take hours now at public laundromats it takes only one hour to do multiple loads of laundry and all at once so I can multitask by working in the van this is a private like I was going through with Watson Lake and Fort Nelson but no it's a thriving town this place that I'm staying that tonight called the real Canadian Superstore not sure what that's about just yet but I'm gonna go over there tomorrow and check it out but I met I put some escape her friends Marc and Shay just met them when I went to Mexico this last year we had dinner at a place called Earls is the name of it and it was so good it is by the way 1934 at night you can't get over this yet I feel like I'm tired but I'm not tired they got about 2 like 1 o'clock in the morning because it was so light outside still try to go inside and make it to where its darkest to be in there except just a little bit warmer out so I need to keep the shades open for air circulation so the windows need to be open that's kind of a catch-22 I am a little bit tired from all of the driving that I've been doing a little bit too much driving lately only because I was trying to get to certain spots and you know I always feel like I'm on this quest to get to the destination and so then I think a little bit too fast and I don't always enjoy what's in between part of it is because the internet wasn't good I have stuff I need to do on the Internet unfortunately so more fortunately its its catch-22 but I'm definitely gonna visit a lot of these places on the way back and just prepare a little better now that I know where those spots are at I feel like there's this quest to get to Alaska and that I don't always stop and enjoy the stuff in between not only because of the internet but just because sometimes I can be very destination focused rather than really enjoying what's in between and that's something that I'm working on I've been working on it since I started this Nomad life but I was just talking with mark and Shay about it tonight and how I can be that way sometimes and how difficult it is to slow down surprisingly when you come out of a nine-to-five job and sometimes for my sticks and bricks home and living in the city and how hard it can be to slow down and just enjoy it's incredible isn't it that it's hard for us to do that but it is and I think it's because we always feel like we have to be doing something I know I do I always feel like I have to be doing something and there's times when I do have slow times or I really want to just you know chill out and relax and stuff and there's times where you just feel like I have to be productive and I know that comes from probably my work days and you know part of it is coming from a corporate environment and working a lot and then just I don't know I have a pretty high work ethic so I've worked all my life and this is just what I do so I'm still working on slowing down I've had you know what 30-plus years of being in a life where I work work work and hustle hustle hustle and trying to slow down surprisingly is time to go meditate speaking of that to the incident I'm sitting here thank you myself there's supposed to be in Skagway I'm in Whitehorse what how do they know I'm at the coffee shop because I'm at Starbucks sitting here siphoning off free Wi-Fi yeah and so this is Eric and Rachel you might have seen them and one of my first videos I did with them an interview and there were camping in Skagway down in Alaska and they came to Whitehorse just for the day and saw me yeah guys I'm on cloud nine I cannot believe that Eric and Rachel Weiser just randomly showed up here in Whitehorse I mean not random for them but random that we ran into each other I was at Starbucks and I have missed them I had planned on coming down to see them my way back out of Alaska because they're in Skagway Alaska and not part of kind of the main part of Alaska I was just sitting at Starbucks using the Wi-Fi in my van they showed up and sent me this text why I didn't know that they were there they sent a text and said hey where are you and I told him there was in Whitehorse then they said are you taking a nap in your van I'm like what and then I said coffee a question or a question my question mark and I'm like okay we are you here it was so random I love these people I'll link a video right here to the interview that I did for them the audio sucks I know guys everybody tells me the audio sucks it was my very first interview I ever did and I didn't have the proper equipment for audio so it does sound a little bit bad but you can get through it watch their interview they're an amazing couple they work camp all around the United States they've been to Bar Harbor Maine to the keys to White Mountains and New Hampshire I think New Hampshire and then now Alaska and they're just an incredible couple I really really love them they're the very first nomads I met along the way we were getting our solar installed AM solar in Eugene Oregon and how reanima thought that they were here and we ran into each other at Starbucks but that's what this life is about so many times you meet people on the road and you run into them and random places around the United States and just beautiful these relationships are important and ones that I think you know as I started getting out on the road I really learned to cherish these relationships even more and I feel like they're an extension of my family I mean I know they would be there in a heartbeat for me just like I would be there for them and so and that's not just Eric and Rachel it's so many other people that I have met on the road and yeah it's a beautiful life so anyway I just had to share that with you

To my surprise, my oldest nomadic friends, Eric and Rachel Wiser, randomly showed up in Whitehorse at the coffee shop I was at in Whitehorse! As a digital nomad, I needed WiFi and my hotspots aren’t working well in the Yukon Territory so off to Starbucks to work until it’s time to continue on the Alcan Highway to Alaska.

★ How I Got Started
Hi, I’m Amber and in May 2017 I started this nomadic journey after selling my house and all my belongings to pursue this crazy dream of living out of my RV full-time and traveling all around North America.
After 1 year of traveling, I sold my 26 foot Winnebago Class C RV for a more nimble Class B Hymer Aktiv van. I couldn’t have been more excited to continue my second year in a van that allows me to travel to more places and experience more in life.

but there's a mama very close Gabriel do you see it babe are you really need to get my phone I don't know but he is oh my goodness I can't even think I gotta put you down so today we are exploring Danko and it is I think one of our favorite places in Tennessee it is a beautiful beautiful area the Cades Cove is just a long loop I don't even know how long it is 11 miles there you go thank you 11 mile loop you can drive the whole thing there are places where you can pull off like we just passed some people who's petting some horses there are hiking trails within this loop there's some old houses that you can go into some old churches some cemeteries and there's lots and lots of wildlife which is what we're looking for today again if you don't know we drive a one-ton dually and it's a little tight for driving these roads and finding a place to pull off the kids wanted to stop at the horses but there was no way we were gonna be able to do that with the size of rig we have because it was already cars on the side and we just we're just too large of a vehicle and so now we're contemplating buying a Motorhome no not really we said that but as soon as I said it I changed my mind cuz I love our house I love our pizza and I love our big jackass country we are gonna check out this place this beautiful beautiful beautiful area we can see some bears she's embarrassing we might go on a little hike we did a hike here several years ago I think this is the second time we've been here and we hiked back I think it's called Abrams Falls great big waterfall I think it's probably a good mile or a more of a hike back well worth it if you ever get the chance to go but the only way that I'm gonna do that is if daddy goes ahead and approves that everybody can get wet because you can't hike to a waterfall tonight don't you get wet kids smile so see that thing mama would say let's jump in with our clothes on daddy will be saying blah-blah-blah-blah-blah and so I don't think we should hike and run ourselves and Wow what this place does have quite a bit of because these roads are one lane roads because if you do want to drive slow they have plenty of little pull offs like I just was driving slow and again actually kids burger yeah it doesn't it doesn't take long we lied I'm not in a hurry and some of these people are trying to get to maybe a specific hike within the park so yeah so you try to get you try to get to a hike early quickly so you can get out there and get to it for us we're just kind of slow and sightseeing so we're pulling over and letting people pass us so it's a nice little gesture to just let the people on around because we're driving like Grandma and Grandpa today in fact I've got the Eagles song take it easy in my head for some reason we're just so easy I used to be singing I'm in a hurry to get them I was getting hit in the head with a sword so one of the things that is tough about our being with kids is finding activities that kids will enjoy our two little ones our biggest ones back there they don't care too much about driving around and looking at the pretty trees and the mountains and the valleys and if there was a bear out there they would pay attention but where's buck the Bears and tell them when the Bears are around yeah so I think that's the hardest part it's because there's a lot of things that Lane and I would absolutely love to do like we just stopped at that church we walked to the church Grady didn't get out and come with us bit leyland chasin did but they didn't care nothing about it but there's just things that way and I would like to do but the kids are bored or it doesn't interest them and so we have to compromise sometimes and find things that Lane and I don't really want to do but the kids wanna do but like yesterday was a kid day and they just got all they care about to run bikes go to the pool and they like doing fun hikes like when we can jump in waters like that but yesterday was a kid day we did what the kids loved went to Gatlinburg last night was probably one of my favorite nights Evers of our whole trip Impa thin today we're driving around Cades Cove and doing and they're able to have way more TV time than they're usually able to happen because I'm trying to remember being five and seven years old that this probably would be boring but hopefully we see some more wild like the stuff that'll be a good little person excited and it makes me excited to come back when they're over and we things like whitewater rafting and things that I've big enough for you and like once they get a little older we can use a lot of this for now he's going field trips which American everything that's something else we're having to get adjusted to is that what day is well it's like we're retired but we're not we still work with that we learn to you like careful we have learned that we like to go places like this during the week where when all the other kids and parents are in school and in office shops and stuff like that because otherwise it'd be so crowded and then we like trying to just say good on the weekends and everybody else is not about boy I'm sweating now but anyways yeah so we try to go either play like busy places during [Laughter] so while we were inside the visitors center I picked up a cades cove book and found out a little bit of history about this I don't member the guys name but a gentleman back in the 1800's acquire about 1821 acquired I want to say over 1200 acres of this land through some sort of a treaty but anyway and then by the 1900's there was about 700 people that lived inside of Cades Cove it was they said 129 families but then in the 1920s and 30s this land was taken by eminent domain through the state of Tennessee which later became part of the Smoky Mountain National Forest Great Smoky Mountain National Forest water is coming from a creek up there and they have trapped it where this water will come all the way down this is how the Empowered machine back a long time ago it was they use water to do it in that pretty neat so they have a little demonstration here to where you can actually still see how this mill operated it's actually operating right now and it's really a great lesson teach the kids because Grady's understanding how it all works now well see they put the corn in up there that wheel spins and grinds up that cord and then there greater you can see words actually comes up see that corn gets ground up see how it's coming out right here let's see how to shoot now that's just like the flower that mommy uses to make biscuits so far away but there's a bear honey I use you dude but still doesn't actually I can see it better with my eyes and what my camera can see it so anytime the traffic has stopped you know you're missing submission something there's something up ahead for those of you that know me you know that I'm terrified of bears but those are only the dead mean-looking ones the best pro I'm not scared traffic's moving slow so there's something definitely up here that everybody's checking out and going real slow and looking at so hopefully we about time will get up here just to be there so jafek has officially stopped yeah we didn't but I was doing a time-lapse to see how long it took us to get through this and I just go ahead and stop the time-lapse because we're moving so anyway people are now starting to get out and walk to where res is whatever is up here well whatever it was we missed it traffic is moving again and it's raining now so Cades Cove and you see something awesome look at it love it enjoy it snap a picture especially especially if you're just blocking the road for a long time no I'm just saying in the moment I hope we wouldn't we better not you win it right people are behind yeah that's true alright we gotta get yes we've seen the bear we gotta go Michael's afraid turn the generator on whenever for us why because these place mi might get mad cuz I know well if it's that night yes I don't want to be a rude neighbour have my generator yeah yeah anyway unfortunately we missed it maybe we'll see something else well it's raining good man you can't even see the mountain up there so this is probably gonna conclude yeah we'll get some coffee this is gonna conclude our Cades Cove adventure for today we had a wonderful time here we love Cades Cove if you're in the area Gatlinburg and Pigeon for an area you have got to come to Cades Cove it is well worth it expect to be here a couple hours at least at least and that's just if you're just driving through you know if you're not gonna do any stopping but anyway it's getting dark on us to start your reign anyway thanks guys if you watch this video if you liked it give us a thumbs up or subscribe over going really dark see ya
